Albany Rifle and Pistol Club
AR Fundamentals

Our AR Fundamentals class is the first in our AR sequence and focuses on becoming familiar and learning the safety skills needed to use the AR-15 rifle in .223/5/56 caliber. We do not teach full auto or other Modern Sporting Rifles (MSR) in this class. Those wishing to learn about other platforms or calibers of MSR’s can request private instruction from our lead rifle instructor. There are no prerequisites for this class, as the intent is to provide basic training for those with little or no shooting experience, and for those who want a refresher on the basics. AR Fundamentals is a 6 hour class and participants will need a MRS, 60 rounds of new ammo, 2 mags holding 10 or more rounds.

Please watch the ARPC calendar for this this class and to sign up.
